Product introduction

Screw pump, also known as "screw pump", "Archimedes screw pump". A pump that uses the rotation of the helical blades to make the water body spiral up in the axial direction. It consists of a shaft, a spiral blade and a casing. When pumping water, place the pump obliquely in the water so that the inclination angle of the main shaft of the pump is smaller than the inclination angle of the spiral blade, and the lower end of the spiral blade is in contact with the water. When the prime mover drives the screw pump shaft to rotate through the speed change device, the water enters the blade and rises along the helical flow channel until it flows out. The structure is simple, the manufacturing is easy, the flow rate is large, the head loss is small, the efficiency is high, and the repair and maintenance are convenient, but the lift is low, the speed is low, and a speed change device is required. It is mostly used for irrigation, drainage, and lifting sewage and sludge. China has been using it since the 1970s.

The device for on-line cleaning of the forced feeding screw pump includes three parts: the prime mover, the variable speed transmission device and the screw pump, as shown in Figure 1. The screw pump is installed obliquely between the upper and lower pools, and the lower blade of the screw pump is immersed below the water surface. When the pump shaft rotates, the screw blade pushes the water in the pool into the blade groove, and the water is lifted up step by step along the screw shaft under the action of the screw rotating blade until it reaches the water outlet of the screw pump. The screw pump only changes the potential energy of the fluid, which is different from the vane type pump, which converts the mechanical energy into the potential energy and kinetic energy of the conveyed liquid.

Selection range

1. According to different conveying materials, consider the following factors:

Abrasiveness, solid content, viscosity at working temperature, reactivity to different rubbers, PH, whether it contains particles, what shape, and the size of particles, etc. However, only the correct selection can obtain the best economic and technical effect and long operating life. Therefore, it is recommended that the customer put forward the process parameters, and the company's professionals will assist in the selection.

2. Determine the flow rate, output pressure and pump type, flow direction:

Flow: Under a certain pressure, the flow is proportional to the speed.

Pressure: It depends on the number of pump stages, usually the working pressure difference of each stage is 0.6MPa (6Kg/cm2).

Pump type: Due to the particularity of the screw pump, we usually choose the pump type and recommend the customer to use it, which is ultimately decided by the customer.

Flow direction: The material flow direction of the pump is determined by the rotation of the motor, and the inlet and outlet can be easily adjusted and changed according to the needs. Usually, the flange port near the driving end is used as the inlet. This port can be rotated and installed in the direction of 90° according to the needs.

3. Determine the motor power and drive mode of the pump:

Motor power is related to pump type, flow rate, actual output pressure and efficiency.

Drive mode: motor direct drive, deceleration motor drive, diesel engine belt drive, manual automatic stepless adjustment drive (frequency conversion speed regulation, electromagnetic speed regulation).

4. Material selection:

According to the physical and chemical properties of the conveyed materials, the main components are available in the following materials:

Suction and discharge ports: cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, 304, 316, 316L, 904L, etc.

Transmission parts: carbon steel, stainless steel, 304, 316, 316L, 904L, etc.

Rotor: carbon steel, stainless steel, 304, 316, 316L, 904L, CD4MCU, etc.

Stator: Various rubber and other elastic materials. (see previous page for stator material)

5. Sealing form:

Mechanical seal: single end face machine seal, double end face machine seal

Packing seal: using Teflon impregnated packing

6. Installation form:

Horizontal, vertical, mobile, vehicle-mounted and other different forms.
